Dancer Elena Gibson competed on Romania’s Got Talent in 2019 and had one of the sexiest routines the world has ever seen. She started off her career as a ballerina and quickly took up pole dancing, an art form which she has taken all over the world. Check out her stunning routine below that will have your heart racing.
Elena Gibson Stunned With Pole Dancing Routine On ‘Romania’s Got Talent’
During her Romania’s Got Talent audition, she was the definition of poise and elegance. She wore ballet shoes and mixed the two dance styles in one incredible routine. The judges loved it and she was sent into the live shows where she stepped up her act even further.
Elena was surrounded by dancers as she commanded the stage in a red outfit in another routine. She did quite a few traditional tango moves and flexed her ballroom dancing skills before heading over to the pole. She performed some incredibly difficult tricks that literally have us wondering how they were even possible. “I first became aware of pole dancing in 1997 when I was dancing for the National Ballet of Canada, a local nightspot in Toronto had a pole where we used to watch the pole dancers perform” she told Talent Recap exclusively. “
We used to mess around on it after a few drinks. I didn’t realize at the time quite how much pole would become part of my life” she continued. “In 2000 I had a serious car accident in which I broke my neck, the process of getting fit again was very difficult and often boring, I happened to come across somewhere I could practice on the pole and it all started from there. I found it a great way to build my strength back up and loved the way I could express myself without through this new way of movement.”

From hanging on the pole upside down to keeping her body upright using only one leg, Elena really stunned everyone with this sexy and bold routine. Plus, we have to point out that the Romania’s Got Talent production team totally killed the background and staging of this entire performance. It was simply put, perfect. The judges stood up on their feet as the audience roared with applause after the performance.
She is certainly one of the most memorable pole dancers we have ever seen on ‘Got Talent’ shows. It’s no surprise that coming onto Romania’s Got Talent, Elena was already a champion pole dancer and won many great honors. Though she didn’t win the show, she raised the bar for any pole dancers that come on ‘Got Talent’ shows in the future.

Where Is She Now?
After competing on Romania’s Got Talent, Elena has continued her work as a dance teacher and trainer. She holds classes on Zoom to help ballet and pole dancers improve their strength and skills.
“I have been performing for the last 30 years on stages all over the world from very grand and impressive to most insignificant ones and when I was younger this used to make a difference” she said. “Now that I am older I don’t get intimidated or nervous about where I perform or in front of whom. I make sure that I make every performance special and I enjoy every minute I am on stage as I know it brings me one performance closer to the one that will be my last and these moments I cherish to the fullest.”
Even though teaching and performing is difficult during the coronavirus pandemic, Elena continues to work with a smile on her face. She showed off some of her new skills in a video before her country was put on lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
“When COVID-19 first hit Italy during the first lockdown, I launched my online training The Elena Gibson Method in March 2020 which has taken many years to film, edit and prepare to be launched” she said. “I am pleased I achieved this long waiting project whilst I was in my Milan studio. After leaving Italy in September 2020 to relocate to Barcelona, Spain I have continued to work on some amazing projects and I plan to continue to perform and teach worldwide.”
“Some exciting projects await in the pipeline once events will re-open and we will be able to return to a normality” she added. “No matter what happens I will keep teaching and performing, it is what I love.”
