WATCH 10-Year-Old Girl SLAY An Alicia Keys Song Like You’ve Never Seen Before

In 2009, a 10-year-old girl named Natalie Okri charmed the BGT judges with her cover of a famous Alicia Keys song. She may have been little, but her singing voice was big.

Natalie Okri Auditions For ‘BGT’
Before her audition, Natalie shared that she had been singing since she was four years old. She loved singing so much, she did it all the time — even when eating her dinner. She added that she wanted to be a “diva” like Beyoncé.

For her performance, Natalie sang “No One” by Alicia Keys as the audience clapped along and cheered. The BGT judges couldn’t stop smiling at the sweet performance, and they had only positive things to say.
Amanda Holden called it “knockout brilliant.” Simon Cowell said Natalie was “totally and utterly adorable.” Natalie received four “yes” votes to move on to the next round. She made it to the semifinals, where she was unfortunately eliminated.
Where Is Natalie Okri Now?
Natalie never stopped pursuing her dream of becoming a star. Now 21, she’s released several singles, but she hasn’t forgotten where it all started. “I’m that 10-year-old girl that was on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009,” she writes in her YouTube bio. “Now I’m all grown up and uploading more!”

Earlier this year, Natalie released a music video for her song “Like That.” She also recently released a new track called “Sick of Love.” She even put out a song inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic, titled “Quarantine Thoughts.”
In 2018, Natalie reflected on Instagram about how she’s changed since her BGT audition, saying she’s “really come a long way from the person I was.” She added, “There’s still more trials and errors to come and my year of success will come because my hard work will pay off.”
