Kevin Hart recently appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience to discuss his new plant-based diet. However, suspicions have arisen that Hart may have been paid to mention the famous company on the podcast.
Kevin Hart eager to mention Beyond Meat brand whilst on JRE after appearing in ad
Kevin Hart returned to The Joe Rogan Experience to discuss all things from comedy legends to his horrific car crash. Whilst discussing his new diet, Hart was particularly keen to mention that he is trying more plant-based alternatives to get his protein. The comedian claimed that he thought he ‘needed’ red meat.
“Just because you make the decision to go and try plant-based, doesn’t mean you have to [get engulfed] in that world,” mentioned Hart when telling Rogan he’d ditched a large majority of animal products. Kevin went on to mention that he found himself to be particularly fond of Beyond Meat, a brand of which he is an ambassador.
Whilst we can’t be sure, it would be no surprise to find out that Kevin was paid by Beyond Meat for his subtle promotion on the podcast. Hart has partnered with the brand in the past, featuring in ads and promoting its products. And with millions tuning in to Rogan’s show every episode, there’s no better platform.
Hart works with Beyond Meat to donate to hospitals during Coronavirus
Kevin recently posted another promotion for Beyond Meat on Instagram, advertising a new scheme he is working on with the plant-based brand during Coronavirus. “I want to give a shout-out to my partners in crime over there at Beyond Meat. You guys are unbelievable, feeding over a million people right now through these crazy times is a must. I love the fact that you’ve stepped up and I want to do my part as your partner, I want to step-up as well,” he said in a video.
