VOTE: Your Favorite Golden Buzzer On ‘America’s Got Talent’ 2020?

We’re several weeks into AGT Season 15, and we’ve had four Golden Buzzer acts so far. This week’s episode didn’t feature a Golden Buzzer, but there’s still one up for grabs at some point this season.
Let’s take a look back at this season’s Golden Buzzers so far, and speculate about what kind of act might earn the final honor. Let us know in the comments which of the four has been your favorite this season.
Who’s Your Favorite ‘AGT’ Golden Buzzer?
Voices of Our City Choir (Terry Crews)
This choir for people experiencing homelessness in San Diego earned the AGT Golden Buzzer from host Terry Crews in the season premiere. They performed an original song for the judges, prompting Simon Cowell to say “there’s strength in numbers.”
Terry interrupted Simon’s critique to walk off the stage and hit the Golden Buzzer. “What they did today has moved me to this point right now,” he said. This is the second choir Terry has hit the Golden Buzzer for. Last year, he hit it for Detroit Youth Choir.
Roberta Battaglia (Sofia Vergara)
This 10-year-old Canadian singer wowed the judges with her cover of “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. New judge Sofia Vergara was so impressed, she hit the Golden Buzzer. It was extra special for Roberta, as she’s a fan of Sofia on Modern Family.

After she performed, Roberta got emotional and shared that she had been bullied. Sofia called her performance “breathtaking.” She added, “Let’s see who is going to bully you after this,” before hitting the Golden Buzzer.
Cristina Rae (Heidi Klum)
This singer told the judges about being homeless when she was pregnant, and how she wanted a house of her own for her and her son. She started off singing Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight,” but Simon asked her to sing another song.
Cristina performed “Gimme Shelter” by the Rolling Stones. Heidi Klum called her “out of this world.” She pointed to the Golden Buzzer, asking Cristina, “Are you ready for this right now?” Cristina was overcome with emotion as the confetti rained down.
WAFFLE Dance Crew (Simon Cowell)
This group of subway dancers from New York City said they want to set a positive example for young people, and would like to invest the million-dollar prize into their community. They put on an energetic performance that had the crowd cheering.
Judge Simon Cowell was so impressed, he told them he wanted to give them “a little head start” and hit the Golden Buzzer for them. “That was fantastic,” he told them as they celebrated the big moment.
Brandon Leake
Longtime judge Howie Mandel made history on America’s Got Talent by giving his Golden Buzzer to a contest that performed spoken word poetry.
Brandon’s words touched Sofia Vergara so much that she had tears in her eyes and recalled the time she lost her brother, making the audience less room heavier than ever before in this season.
