‘The Voice’s Brynn Cartelli Reflects On Her Time On The Show
One of the stand out acts this year on The Voice is definitely Brynn Cartelli. As the youngest artist in the competition she’s garnered a lot of attention. But mostly people love her because she’s really talented. We interviewed her and she’s just delightful and very mature for her age. But what has it been like for someone so young to be thrust into the spotlight?
Brynn Cartelli has taken it all in stride in spite of the fact that she’s one of the favorites to win and a record contract and a bunch of money could forever change her life. But she told us she can’t think about that, only the next performance. She said the whole experience has been the most formative experience of her life. She told her hometown paper,
“The past few weeks have pushed me harder than ever before. I love it, though. My finale song has some huge notes in it, but they don’t seem as big as they did a couple weeks ago. I don’t have much time to stop and think about being here in the finale. It’s all happening at such a fast pace. As a person, I have grown close to everyone around me and have made some lifelong best friends. This experience is exhausting but having such amazing friends to go through it with me makes everything a lot better.”
Whatever happens on Tuesday night, whether she wins or loses, I hope that Brynn never loses her groundedness. She should stay the same driven but kind person she is now. Believe me, that’s hard to do in the entertainment business.
