‘The Voice’ Delivers Another Incredible Night Of Performances
And then there were 10. The remaining contestants sang their hearts out tonight to get one of the coveted 8 spots in the semifinals. But who will progress and who is going home? It’s going to be a tough one for America to choose.
Davon has a great voice when it comes to the high belting notes. But when the quieter moments come up, I just don’t feel it. I think he might be in trouble.
After two weeks in the bottom two Adam wanted to prove he still belongs in the competition. So, he really brought it in this rendition of Maybe It Was Memphis by Pam Tillis. He may have saved his butt thanks to this performance.
Noah did his usual amazing job with his passionate performance of Ordinary World. It should easily carry him to the semifinals. The ladies do love Noah.
I really feel that in a couple of years Shi’Ann will be unstoppable. But this performance and her previous ones show that she needs some polish. I think she might go home.
Holy crap. Chloe not only got herself into the semis with this version of the Blondie classic but she might have placed herself in the finals.
I was a little dubious of Keisha doing Celine Dion. Boy was I wrong. Not only is this her best performance, she showed all the neysayers, (and idiot racists as Adam pointed out), that not only does she belong where she is, that she is a force to be reckoned with.
I don’t know what Miley was thinking having her sing I Hate Myself for Loving You by Joan Jett. That’s just not Ashland. Miley herself would annihilate that song, but Ashland might be in trouble because of poor song selection.
There’s our girl. Brooke doing Amazing Grace? How could that be anything less than spectacular. She’s a woman of profound faith and it shows. She’ll, of course, make it through.
Red is great and I think he’ll make it through because he’s a big hit with the country fans but this wasn’t his best performance. I do feel he’ll survive, though.
Addison doing Britney Spears? It works. Oh, man does it work. She, Chloe, and Brooke are the ones to beat.
