‘The Voice’ Contestants Are Tearing Up The iTunes Charts
Not only is The Voice one of the most popular shows on TV but it also is making huge headways on the music charts. After a really great performance on the show, the fans want to download and listen to their favorite contestants on their way to work or school. Right now three of the top 15 are contestants on The Voice according to the iTunes charts.
Chloe Kohanski’s incredible rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart is #1 on iTunes, beating out Havana by Camilla Cabello. Adison Agen comes in at #3 with A Case of You by Joni Mitchell. But let’s not forget Red Marlow at #11 with Garth Brooks’ The Dance. It just goes to show you that what some haters say is incorrect. People do take the performers on talent shows seriously and good music can come out of them. Whoever wins I know that these three, (and many of the other remaining contestants), will kick ass in the real world.
Of course, singles sales are a huge indicator of who people might vote for. I think these three, especially Chloe, should feel really confident right about now.
