VIDEO: First Leaked Audition of ‘The Voice’ Season 15 is Four-Chair Turner Kennedy Holmes

If the first leaked audition is any indication, Season 15 of The Voice is shaping up to be a great one! We got a sneak peek at Kennedy Holmes, a 13-year-old powerhouse vocalist from St. Louis. She even tackled a beloved Adele song, “Turning Tables”! So the fact that she managed to turn four chairs is quite an accomplishment.

Kennedy has some pipes! This is another “Wow, I can’t believe she’s that young” kind of audition. 13 years old? Are you kidding me?! I’m excited to see her story arc throughout the season. Artists like Kennedy always seem to improve as the season goes on. I think back to last year’s winner, Brynn Cartelli, and how she matured and found her voice on the show. We all know how that ended!
As far as which coach Kennedy Holmes will choose? We don’t know for sure. They all put up quite a fight! Kelly walked away stunned when she found out Kennedy was 13 and later starting crying. Blake went on to say The Voice ratings will “skyrocket” thanks to her. And Adam could barely get a word in at first! But once he did, he said something about her confidence and how she’ll be the biggest star The Voice has ever made and yeah yeah, let’s be real here. She’s picking Jennifer.
The producers always try to build up suspense when artists choose a coach but this is inevitable. Kennedy turned around and started crying when JHud first talked to her. She was clearly starstruck! She then went on to share that one of her first performances was “I Am Changing.” Finally, to top it all off, Jennifer walked onto stage and sang with Kennedy! If that isn’t a convincing selling point, I don’t know what is. The claws (and shoes) are coming out this season!
