The k-pop supergroup BTS just announced that they will grace the stage at The Voice finale on May 21st.

Twitter erupted after this week’s episode of The Voice, when an anticipated message from BTS never showed up. The episode played a pre-taped video by the Jonas Brothers about their appearance, and host Carson Daly announced that Taylor Swift would also perform with Brendon Urie. This had BTS fans up in arms, lashing out against The Voice on twitter.

The South Korean pop stars performed at the America’s Got Talent finale last year and the crowd couldn’t get enough. We assume this is why The Voice had to get them for the lineup of their finale. Finally the official announcement by BTS came via twitter putting the BTS army’s fears to rest.

BTS members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook made the announcement in a video on The Voice’s official twitter page.

This is not only good news for the BTS army, but for The Voice who was receiving considerable backlash from BTS fans around the world.
