Ukrainian Sand Artist Has Everyone In Tears With Heartbreaking War Story [VIDEO]
Kseniya Simonova is one of the most unforgettable acts to step foot on the ‘Got Talent’ stage. Her unique sand art act has been equally heartbreaking and fascinating which is why she won the first season of Ukraine’s Got Talent. Kseniya Simonova Took Sand Art To A New Level On ‘Ukraine’s Got Talent’
After performing a two-minute routine to get herself into the Ukraine’s Got Talent Semi-Finals, Kseniya wanted to do something more emotional for her next performance. She was determined to perform a piece about World War II even after the producers were not too crazy about her idea.
Her performance was over eight minutes long and told the story of a couple who met during wartime. She drew a man who ended up going away to war. Kseniya beautifully captured the emotions of all of the women during this time who were heartbroken. The main woman had to take care of her son alone as she awaited her husband’s return. The slow music soon turned into gunfire and Kseniya threw sand all over the board. She drew several men who looked panicked and scared. All the while the woman continued to age.
This prompted several members of the audience to shed tears as Kseniya transitioned into the final minutes of her act. At the end of the routine, Kseniya drew the woman looking out what appears to be a window with her son. The audience stood up on their feet and gave her well-deserved roaring applause. She made it into the Finals and performed another stunning routine. Kseniya was named the winner of Ukraine’s Got Talent after impressing everyone each week and never failing to make people cry.
Where Is She Now?
Kseniya has traveled the world performing her incredible act after winning Ukraine’s Got Talent. In 2019, she came to ‘AGT: Champions’ with a story about never forgetting your parents. Host Terry Crews was blown away by the performance and gave Kseniya his Golden Buzzer. She made it all the way to the finale and finished the competition in third place. The judges complimented her artistry and ability to move people through her performances.
Kseniya then went on to ‘BGT: Champions’ to perform a piece about a young girl battling cancer. Amanda Holden was moved to tears and immediately hit her Golden Buzzer after the performance. She once again finished this show in third place.
Kseniya went on to audition for Romania’s Got Talent in 2020, once again showing she is a dominant force in talent competitions with her amazing act. She continues to update her YouTube channel with all of her latest performances that are all very emotional and heartfelt.
