BGT: The Champions came to a much-anticipated end this weekend crowing the champion of all champions. Over the course of six weeks, the show brought together the most memorable acts from the ‘Got Talent’ global franchise, but mostly British legendarya cts. The winner doesn’t just win the coveted Champions Trophy but also a cash prize and the glorious claim as the ultimate champion!

Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams were back on the judging panel with Ant and Dec as hosts.

SPOILER ALERT! ‘BGT: The Champions’ Winner Is…

Twist and Pulse won Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions. They are the dance duo – made up of best pals Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy. Unlike BGT and AGT, The Champions winners are selected by votes taken by a myterious panel of superfans chosen by an application process.

Twist and Pulse dancing duo were runners-up on BGT in Season 4 and have been dancing together for 10 years. They earned the Golden Buzzer from judge Alesha Dixon, who coincidentally has been chosen by Simon Cowell to judge the upcoming season of AGT Champions. “I could just watch you forever,” she told Twist and Pulse.


The Winner Leak Controversy

The winner announcement did not come as a huge shock to many of the fans, since the pre-taped show winners were leaked to the public months before the airing of the show. accourding to The Sun Twist and Pulse were seen showing off their trophy outside the arena following the taping. The ITV bosses were furious over the move but it was too latet o do anything about it. Were the winners punished for the move? Did they lose thier cash prize? who knows. All we know is that they won and they deserve our full congrats!

The ‘BGT Champions’ Season 1 Runner-up

Coming in second place were Stavros Flatley. This father and son dance duo were finalists in Season 3 of BGT and are considered to be BGT legends. Their shirtless dance on the BGT: The Champions stage earned the Golden Buzzer from judge Simon Cowell and they were sent directly to the finals.

The ‘BGT’ Champions’ Third Place Winner

Winning the bronze medal was none other than Kseniya Simonova. Kseniya is a sand artist who won Ukraine’s Got Talent and went on to wow on AGT: The Champions with her emotional storytelling. Her mesmerizing act earned her the Golden Buzzer from BGT judge Amanda Holden, who was in tears over the performance. Simonova made AGT and BGT history, which you can read more about HERE.

The diverse panel of AGT superfans that are selected determine who moves on and ultimately wins in the competition.  The voting is not open to the public, just to this select panel of fans.

The tapings will take part in October at the Pasadena Civic Center between approximately 4 pm and 10 pm (subject to change at Producer discretion). You must be in the Los Angeles area at that time, and be available for the full taping day. Parking will be provided. You must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate.
