‘The Voice’ Singer Turns All Four Chairs With Powerhouse Beyoncé Cover [VIDEO]

On The Voice, the highest compliment a singer can receive during their blind audition is for all four coaches to turn their chairs. That’s what happened to Beth Spangler during Season 7 of the show.
Beth auditioned with a powerhouse rendition of “Best Thing I Never Had” by Beyoncé. Check out her performance below, and find out how far she went in the competition in 2014.
Beth Spangler Auditions For ‘The Voice’
Beth showed off her strong voice for the coaches, inspiring Blake Shelton and Adam Levine to hit their buttons at almost exactly the same time. It took a little longer for Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams to join them.
They ended up hitting their buttons to turn around at the very end of the song, prompting outrage from Blake. “You can’t wait that late!” he told them. But it didn’t matter — Beth turned all four chairs.

The amazing thing about this four-chair turn is that each coach reportedly only had one spot left on their team. Anyone who’s watched the show knows how picky coaches can get toward the end of auditions, so it’s even more impressive that Beth turned all four chairs.
Beth went on to share her moving story. After her father lost his leg in a motorcycle accident, she gave up pursuing music to take care of him, as well as working at a children’s hospital. The 30-year-old ended up joining Team Adam.
How Far Did Beth Go On Season 7?
Beth ended up losing her Battle to Mia Pfirrman, but was stolen by Gwen Stefani. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it past the Knockout round, losing to fellow Team Gwen member Ryan Sill.

Since her time on the show, Beth released an EP called Audio Selfie. She also gave birth to a baby boy named Micah in 2018, and is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Rob.
Beth is still singing. Recently, she shared a video of herself singing the hymn “It Is Well” for the First Baptist North Augusta Worship church. Follow her on Facebook for future updates and performances.
