‘The Voice’ Season 15: Semifinal Eliminations Recap
We’ve reached the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the final four reveal! Season 15 of The Voice is ending even quicker than it started and for this semifinal show, we’re presented with performances from Michael Bublé, Hailee Steinfeld, and The Voice coach Jennifer Hudson. Half of the contestants were cut after voting ended on Monday night, with three of the highest votes advancing to the finals, and the two lowest votes being automatically eliminated. It’s then left for America to ‘Instantly Save’ one of the artists in the middle voting positions- who will it be? Let’s find out.
Starting out the show, we have our semifinalists brought out to the stage. Carson announces Kirk Jay from Team Blake as the first contestant to move onto the finals. After a performance from Michael Bublé, the second artist to be voted into the finals is announced as Chevel Shepard from Team Kelly.
The show then cuts to another performance of Hailee Steinfeld singing Back to Life, followed by the announcement of the third artist to join us in the finals. It’s announced that Chris Kroeze from Team Blake will be joining Kirk and Chevel as the artists who were automatically saved.
With a performance from none other than coach Jennifer Hudson to break the ice, the final results of the remaining five contestants were in. It was announced that Team Jennifer’s MaKenzie Thomas and Kennedy Homes, and Team Adam’s Reagan Strange would be up for the Instant Save. This means Team Kelly’s Sarah Grace and Kymberli Joye were the bottom two and automatically eliminated from the competition.
For tonight’s Instant Saves, we first had Makenzie Thomas sing Up to the Mountains.
Next up was Reagan Strange performing to Wherever You Will Go.
Last, we had Kennedy Holmes ending the show with the performance of How Do I Live.
Soon after, the results were in and Kennedy was given the last golden ticket for Season 15’s finale. What do you think of tonight’s results? Let us know in the comments!
