It’s the season 16 finale of The Voice! Tonight, a new winner will be crowned! Either Maelyn Jarmon, Gyth Rigdon, Dexter Roberts, or Andrew Sevener will take home the trophy. But first, we have a ton of celebrity performances to get through.

Here’s our recap of The Voice, including the exciting results! (PRO TIP: Scroll to the bottom if you want to see who won.)

Andrew Sevener & Travis Tritt

After a fun bit with The Voice coaches voicing dogs (and Carson voicing a pet fish), the night began with Team Blake’s Andrew Sevener singing with country legend, Travis Tritt! The two performed Travis’s “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” and rocked the stage. It was a fun, dynamic song to kick the show off!

Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers were up next, singing their latest single “Cool.” I especially loved the backup dancers during this performance. Throwing confetti and dancing with pool floaties were a highlight. But the Jonas Brothers can sing too! It’s such a catchy song. Plus, they were clearly having fun back on the stage together.

Khalid

Khalid, who advised Team Legend during the Battles this season, took the stage next. He sang “Talk,” his recent hit song. Khalid has such great energy and I love this song too. This Finale really is stacked with talent!

R&B Supergroup

The first of the past contestant groups was the R&B Supergroup. This was made up on Kim Cherry, Mari, LB Crew, Domenic Haynes, Kalvin Jarvis, Shawn Sounds, and Jej Vinson. They performed “Good as Hell” and “My Prerogative.” It was fun to see them all back on stage! And this group absolutely killed it. You can definitely make an argument that at LEAST one of these group members should have been in the Finale. My vote would’ve gone to Shawn or Jej. Or both, if we’re being honest.

OneRepublic

OneRepublic was up next, singing “Rescue Me.” This was also a chance for Ryan Tedder to discreetly promote his new show Songland (premiering next week). will.i.am even made an appearance! The performance was great but I’m even more excited for the new show they’re in, if I’m going to be honest. The trailers for it in the commercials help that too!

Hootie & the Blowfish

Hootie & the Blowfish came onto stage for their first performance of the night, singing “Let Her Cry.” Darius Rucker returned to sing this classic song, released in 1994. It was a great blast from the past! And Hootie & the Blowfish definitely still got it.

Maelyn Jarmon & Sarah McLachlan

As soon as I heard this duet was happening, I was so excited. It’s a perfect match to put Maelyn and Sarah together. And, of course, as expected, they killed it. Singing Sarah’s hit “Angel,” the two brought an emotional performance with flawless vocals. At this point, if Maelyn doesn’t win, I will be so upset. She’s earned it time and time again. Keeping up with Sarah McLachlan herself just proves that.

BTS

Don’t get me wrong, I love everyone on The Voice. But this may have been the performance of the entire season! Every time I’ve seem BTS perform, they have upped their game. Whether it’s on SNL or The Voice, they are consistently amazing. They are so fun, their music is great, and their coordinated dancing is even better. I can see why they have such a dedicated fanbase! BTS for the win.

Dexter Roberts & Toby Keith

Dexter joined forces with Toby Keith for an epic duet of “That’s Country Bro.” This reminded me of Dexter’s performance with Blake last night, just a fun party on the stage. They both sounded great and Dexter was able to hold his own next to a country superstar. Not a bad showing at all!

Halsey

Halsey is back for her THIRD Finale performance in a row! Last season, she sang “Without Me.” This time, she was singing her new single, “Nightmare.” To be honest, I had never heard it before this performance, but I liked it! Halsey has been coming out with hit after hit and this is no exception. Now the question is, what will she sing at next season’s Finale?

Female Supergroup

For the second former contestant group, we have some notable eliminated females from this season. The female supergroup had Betsy Ade, Celia Babini, Lisa Ramey, and Presley Tennant. Again, some impressive talent to bring back! They sang “Edge of Seventeen” by Stevie Nicks, a great fit for their voices. This is another group that I think had members who deserved to make it farther. Presley especially was robbed. In a male-heavy season, this was a welcomed performance.

Gyth Rigdon and Hootie & the Blowfish

“Hold My Hand” is one of Hootie & the Blowfish’s most well-known songs so this was great to hear Gyth joining them for it. To me, Gyth stands out from the rest of the country singers this season. And this performance proves that again! They all sounded great on the song and had the stage presence to boot.

Taylor Swift & Brendon Urie

The last performance of the season came from Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie. The duo was a perfect fit for the job! Their song is so fun and the outfits and dances just made it. This is another super catchy song that will definitely be stuck in my head for days now. But I’m not complaining, it’s a great one! And Taylor and Brendon lit up The Voice stage.

The Results Are In!

The results started with the fourth place finished, Andrew Sevener. No surprises there, since Andrew was Instant Saved into the Finale. In third, Dexter Roberts! Again, not a surprise since Maelyn and Gyth have been the two front-runners and favorites basically all season.

But now, it was time for the winner to be announced. And The Voice season 16 trophy went to…MAELYN JARMON of Team Legend! Gyth Rigdon finished in second place. What an epic ending to a great season of The Voice. Maelyn was very deserving of the win. Congratulations to her!
