‘The Voice’ Comeback Stage Verdict? #Fail

The Voice live shows are in full swing and a lot of fans are up in arms because a “certain contestant” made it to the final 13. This season of The Voice created a whole new ball game with the invention of The Comeback Stage.
When The voice announced Kelsea Ballerini as a fifth judge fans were excited! Little did they know Ballerini would be part of a grander scheme to give some contestants that didn’t make the first cut, a second chance at their dream. On one hand we love that The Voice did this, because it gives more hope to competitors. On the other hand we could argue that if they didn’t make the first cut, then they should be cut. Harsh, but theres always next season!
However, this is not how things went down. The Comeback Stage contestants came out swinging and Lynnea Moorer made it to the final 13. Fans are convinced that Moorer’s vocals just weren’t up to par with top competitors. We can’t say we don’t agree but thats neither here nor there because well…she made it.
The season 15 alteration of The Voice allowed country music star, Ballerini, to mentor those that didn’t quite make the cut. Only 6 hopefuls were granted this rare spot to grasp their dreams and take back the competition.
The battle was intense and ultimately Lynnea came out on top. After 10 episodes Moorer was re-instated as an official competitor within the singing competition. After the announcement, Twitter fingers were in full affect.
This is a horrible idea. The contestants going home had way better performances. These two were both flat, pitchy and off key. You should have the audience vote for one of the eliminated contestants instead.

Another fan chimed in.
This concept seriously sucked! So many other deserving contestants got sent home and these two had the chance to come back for what?! They didn’t get a chair turn in the beginning for a reason!

So clearly The Comeback Stage was a hit for one person and one person only. Hopefully The Voice team takes notice of fan reaction, and will omit The Comeback Stage from future seasons. For now, we’re just going to keep watching.
