It’s night four of The Voice Blind Auditions, and it was filled with more top-level talent. Tonight’s episode ended with some surprising pairings, so read on to find out which coach these artists picked!
Betsy Ade (Team John)
This single mother chose the song Hunger and fit the vibe of Florence and the Machine perfectly. Her performance earned her a chair turn from John and Adam. However, despite Adam’s strong pitch, Betsy went with her son’s favorite and joined team John.
Dalton Dover (Team Blake)
When this country artist stepped onto the stage, one coach turned around and it was none other than the king of country, Blake Shelton. Kelly tells Dalton that they all knew he was going to pick Blake anyway so it looks like the other coaches are picking up on the country pairing theme.
Rebecca Howell (Team Kelly)
This 18-year-old country singer caught the attention of Kelly, Blake and John. Although John says he will be the unlikely pick, he knows a good voice when he hears one. Meanwhile, Kelly was one to campaign hard to have Rebecca on her team but doubts that it will happen due to Blake taking all the country artists. Kelly must have spoken too soon about because this country singer just joined Team KC!
Kendra Checketts (Team Blake)
Singing the emotional song Sober by Demi Lovato was a bold choice. Blake turned around for her, while the rest of the coaches missed out. Kelly said that with this song, she just wanted Kendra to break down the barrier a little more, but that she will stand out on Blake’s team with her not being a country artist.
LB Crew (Team Adam)
Last but not least we have LB who immediately had Kelly and Blake’s attention with his performances of Waves. Not too long after, John and Adam followed so it was a battle between the coaches to pitch why LB should join their team. Adam took an interesting approach by giving LB constructive criticism while the rest of the coaches complimented him. LB said he liked the honesty and went with Adam as his coach.
That concludes tonight’s auditions. Do you have a favorite so far? Let us know in the comments!
