On this week’s action-packed episode of our Songland recap show, Kyle and Lauren ask the question: if you could be on Songland or wjust write a song, which producer would you wish to produce that song?
Watch the Talent Recap Show here:
We know after talking to some of the contestants that you don’t get to pick which producer you work with on the show. Hell, you apparently don’t even know which artist you are pitching your song to until you are standing in front of them. In this week’s episode it was all about finding the right song, not just for Aloe Blacc, but also for the next Fast and Furious movie Hobbs and Shaw. You know the stakes are high if the song could underscore a scene with The Rock beating the hell out of some people. What could be more important to get right than that?

Which Songland Producer Would You Pick?
Kyle and Lauren recap the show but they also discuss who they would pick if they could pick a mentor for themselves if they were on Songland. Lauren picked Ester Dean which would totally make sense. Ester Dean could match Lauren’s energy. But Kyle, always the ambitious one, went with Ryan Tedder. That guy is a hit making factory and Kyle wants to make that paper too, son. Too bad neither is a songwriter, although I hear that Kyle is a mean karaoke singer.
Who would you pick to be your producer if you had that choice and were on Songland? Let us know in the video comments above or on this page below – #choices.
