Fletcher Pilon’s Audition On ‘Australia’s Got Talent’
Fletcher stepped onto the stage with his guitar and told the Australia’s Got Talent judges that he would be performing a song called “Infinite Child” for his brother Banjo. “He passed away about three and a half months ago.”
He said the song was about how “he’s always going to be with me.” In the lyrics, Fletcher sings, “There’s nothing I liked more than being right by your side.” Later, he tells his brother, “You’re always with me.”
Banjo was just 10 years old when he tragically passed away after being hit by a car while skateboarding. As Fletcher performed the song for him, the judges got choked up, wiping away tears.
“It was definitely harder than I expected getting up there — it was quite emotional,” Fletcher said of his audition. “But this is something I wanted to do for my brother.”
