Teen Dance Group Is The Definition Of Girl Power On ‘BGT’ [VIDEO]

Over the course of 14 seasons of Britain’s Got Talent, viewers have seen so many incredible dance crews hit the stage. Claudia, Tag and Maria are best friends who dance together in the group Code 3. They auditioned for ‘BGT’ in 2017 with a hard-hitting routine that you can check out down below.
Code 3 Showed Off Hard-Hitting Dance Moves On ‘BGT’
Before their audition, the girls, ages 14-16, spoke about how they look up to Beyonce and Little Mix. Simon Cowell signed Little Mix after their success on The X Factor so it was perfect for Code 3 to be dancing in front of him at this audition.
For their audition, Code 3 began dancing to Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too.” Their synchronization and energy up on stage had the audience cheering and completely zoned into the performance. The music quickly transitioned into “Perm” by Bruno Mars. “That’s was absolutely fantastic,” Alesha Dixon said. “You girls do you know what I was so excited about you. Couldn’t fault it. I love you.”

“This was really really good and I think with some production around you this could be amazing” Simon added.
“I wouldn’t have danced in my pajamas, but that’s just a personal thing but the talent is there.” David Walliams said. This caused the whole audience to laugh. Code 3 was voted through to the Semi-Finals where they declared that they wanted to win the competition for girls all over the world.
They started off the routine suspended in the air and danced on pedestals to Beyonce’s “Run The World.” Projections of their faces played on the screen in the background as they danced. Simon praised the staging and the lighting during the performance but had some harsh criticism.
“It felt like it was going to build up to something and then it just went like that” Simon said making a flatline motion with his hand. “I think what it needed was a second dimension to the performance.” He finished off his critique saying that he wanted them to start singing. They were later eliminated from the competition.
Where Is The ‘BGT’ Dance Group They Now?
After competing on ‘BGT,’ the girls continued to post videos on Instagram and Facebook dancing together up until about 2018. After that point, Code 3 has been rather quiet on social media.
All of the girls continue to dance and post gorgeous pictures on their own social media accounts. Tag posted a video dancing to “Run The World” in 2019. “This Song Brings Back So Many Good Memories” she captioned the post.
Both Tag and Claudia have YouTube channels where the post vlogs, hauls and lifestyle videos.
