Tati Is Taking Legal Action Against Shane Dawson & Jeffree Star — Can She Win? [VIDEO]
YouTube Tati Westbrook is finally breaking her silence in a 40-minute video full of tears and revelations that points to Jeffree and Shane manipulating her into making the video that ultimately led to her making the Bye Sister. Internet canceled James for being a “sexual predator” last year for a minute until he debunked it all but, but, but, now there are more revelations and the YouTube beauty community will never be the same.
“There’s so much going on on YouTube and in the world,” the beauty guru starts off the video. “I have been praying every day over this event, scandal, whatever you want to name it.” For her, this video is a way to “speak as much of my truth as I am legally permitted to do.”
Tati Is Taking Legal Action Against Jeffree Star And Shane Dawson
She starts off reading a statement that she wrote and points out that it is all written in her own words and nobody else had a hand in writing it. “I’ve lost over a year of my life terrified of social media and speaking up against the people that used, coerced and manipulated me into uploading my video in May of last year,” she said.
In turn, this has damaged her “health, relationships, reputation and well being.” To be fair, she has lost quite a lot of weight and has had to leave YouTube because it became a toxic place for her.
The video in May of last year that she is referring to is called “Bye Sister.” This video was posted after her good friend James promoted Sugar Bear Hair, the biggest competitor to Tati’s own vitamin brand. Now she has revealed that Jeffree Star is a co-owner of Morphe and they too are coming out with the same product.

One of the most shocking revelations of all is that James and Tati have since met up and spoken after she made the “Bye Sister” video. James actually insisted that he be present for this video but Tati felt it was best to do it alone.
She apologized to him publicly in this video even though she apologized to him in person as well. Tati also apologized to Jackie Aina, a black creator that Jeffree allegedly called a ‘monkey.’
Tati maintains that she made the video as a result of “the poisonous lies that were fed to me by Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star.” She said that this drama led her to finally reach her breaking point. Both YouTubers told Tati that several victims were going to start coming forward that had concrete evidence that they were sexually assaulted by James. For her, this was the driving force behind speaking out against him and starting most of the drama that has unfolded over the past year.
Now she is taking legal action against Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson for the damage they have caused to Tati’s well being and it is allegedly being perused in the civil court. If she wins, she is entitled to gaining millions from both of them.
Tati Was Scared For Her Life From Shane Dawson And J Star
Tati also disclosed that she was scared for her life and switched homes 3 times in one year to remain safe from Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson. She also has handed over all the evidence in a hard disk to her lawyers who are perusing a civil case.
Tati also cautioned that a lot more information will come out about everyone and that we must not cancel people and be kinder to each other. Also James Charles and Tati Are friends and he in fact wanted to be a part of this video to support Tati but Tati decided to do this herself. We don’t know about that but Drama Get In 3 has officially started.
