Sweet 16-Year-Old Makes Judges Swoon With His Audition Dedicated To His Crush [VIDEO]

In 2011, a 16-year-old named Luke Lucas charmed the X Factor judges — particularly Tulisa. Luke performed an impressive rendition of “Who’s Loving You” by the Jackson 5.

The teenager also shared his crush on Tulisa, and ended up getting a kiss on the cheek from her before his performance. Check it out below, and read on to find out what the judges thought of his voice.

Luke Lucas Auditions For ‘X Factor’

Before his audition, Luke shared that he had a crush on Tulisa and was a fan of her group N-Dubz. He said she’s “very pretty,” adding, “I want to touch her face.” When he spotted her on the judges’ panel he said, “She looks gorgeous.”

When he got on stage, he told Tulisa she looked beautiful, prompting her to invite him to kiss her on the cheek. She even gave him a kiss on the cheek in return. “Is that all you came for?” joked fellow judge Gary Barlow.

Luke was also there to sing. His strong voice and charming stage presence made the judges smile, and Tulisa even fell over onto the desk, pretending to swoon. She said he was “absolutely adorable,” adding, “I just wanna squeeze his little cheeks off him.”

Luke Lucas Breaks Down Crying Over Elimination

Tulisa predicted that Luke would “woo the ladies.” Kelly Rowland said she was “so impressed” that he was so talented at 16. Louis Walsh said he sang “in tune” and had a great personality. Gary said he was born with talent.

SIMON COWELL APPARENTLY ‘WENT BERSERK’ OVER THIS PARODY OF ‘X FACTOR’

All four judges voted “yes” to send Luke through to the next round. Unfortunately, Luke was eliminated in the judges’ houses round after a weak performance. He made headlines when viewers saw him break down in tears over the rejection, leading some to question whether 16 is too young to compete on reality TV.

A few years later, at age 18, Luke shared on his professional profile that he wanted to “make it as a singer rather than an ex X Factor contestant,” and said he was writing his own songs. He hasn’t shared much on social media since then.
