Spoiler Alert: Will ‘The Masked Singer’ Have a BTS Member in the Cast?
MBC We met six of the mysterious competitors vying for the win on The Masked Singer this week, but there are still six more to come next week. One celebrity many are hoping to see on the show? A member of BTS!
Fans of the K-Pop group went bananas when member Jungkook competed on Korea’s King of Mask Singer program (the show The Masked Singer was based off of). Of course, American BTS fans are now clamoring to see another member on the new version, and producer Craig Plestis isn’t ruling out the possibility! In the interview clip below, he comments on the fan hopes, and points out they may very well have a presence on the show already!
Could this mean a member of BTS really is on Season 1 of The Masked Singer? None of the hints in the premiere really pointed to it, but we still have six more contestants to meet next week. However, I don’t think Craig would have been as quick to point out the possibility of someone from the group being on if they actually were. I think he was probably trying to get BTS fans interested in the show (and I can’t fault him for that) but I think he would have given a more generic answer or brushed the question off if it were the case.
