Songland fans rejoice! Able Heart, who wrote “Greenlight” for the Jonas Brothers, just released his own version of the song. And, dare I say it, it’s just as good as the JoBro’s version, if not better!

Listen for yourself below to decide how you feel:

Viewers have been asking Able Heart to release his version of “Greenlight” since the show originally aired a few months ago. Now, with the show re-airing this past week, Able used that as an excuse to finally give the viewers what they want. And it did not disappoint! His version is only available on YouTube and SoundCloud for now, but we’re hoping for a wider release soon.

The re-airing of the Jonas Brothers episode of Songland also launched their version of the song back onto the iTunes charts. At one point, it made it back into the Top 20! It is currently sitting at #80, which is still not bad considering it was released months ago. But we are still waiting to hear it on the radio!

Fan Reaction to Able Heart’s “Greenlight”

We weren’t the only ones excited about Able Heart releasing his version of “Greenlight” either. Fans had been asking for it since the show first aired and are now excited about Able’s rendition!

Here are some of our favorite responses:

So we’re really not lying. Able Heart’s version of “Greenlight” is just as well liked as the Jonas Brothers’! He has a strong connection to the song and his voice is just so unique. It definitely has a different vibe than what the Jonas Brothers did with the song. Personally, though, I love both.

But we mostly just can’t wait for Songland to return with new episodes! The show will be back on NBC at its new time starting Wednesday, August 14th at 9/8c.
