Six Artists from ‘The Voice’ Season 14 Announce Tour Together
If you were a fan of last season of The Voice, have we got news for you! Six past contestants announced they will be touring together. In February, Spensha Baker, Britton Buchanan, Jackie Foster, Austin Giorgio, Christiana Danielle, and Kaleb Lee will be putting on two shows around New York. The “America’s Voices on Tour” was announced yesterday.
Here is the tour announcement posted by Jackie Foster on Instagram:
That’s right, tickets are on sale now! And the lineup is pretty stellar. Let’s take a look! First, we have finalists from last season, Britton Buchanan and Spensha Baker. Britton was on Alicia’s team and finished in second place after receiving the Instant Save into the Finale. He was a fan-favorite from the beginning, when Blake blocked Adam from getting Britton on his team. Spensha, a country singer, was on Team Blake and finished fourth. Jackie Foster, the rocker on Team Alicia, and Kaleb Lee, Team Kelly’s country singer, both finished in the Top 8. Christiana Danielle, an African-American indie artist who broke out with her unique covers of “Hotline Bling” and “Use Somebody” made it to the Top 10 on Team Alicia. Finally, crooner Austin Giorgio was eliminated from Team Blake in the Top 24.
While these artists are coming from all over the Midwest, South, and the New England states, the two tour performances will be happening in Utica and Rochester, New York. It is an interesting mix of different genres for sure! I would be most excited to see Britton and Christiana, two of my favorites from last season. But there’s truly something for everyone here!
While there aren’t a ton of details on what will be performed yet, we can speculate they’ll all do a mix of original songs and covers. The only artists with recent originals though from this group are Austin and Christiana. So it may be more covers than anything else! But hey, we’re not complaining.
