Singing Group Resound Delivers A Powerful Performance On ‘America’s Got Talent’ [VIDEO]
NBC Get ready to be wowed by singing group Resound on AGT. This trio of talented vocalists auditioned for Season 15. In a new leaked video from Tuesday’s upcoming show, they perform for the judges.
Not only did they deliver an incredible performance, but their song choice happens to be just what a lot of people need to hear at a difficult time in the world. Check out their audition in the video below.
Resound Auditions For ‘AGT’
Resound consists of Mariah Hargrove, Joseph Clarke, and Jessica Fox. As they explained to the judges before their performance, they quit their jobs to pursue music and have been trying to make a living from it.
Before singing, they shared that they were nervous, as Joseph said, “We just want to hit every note.” Heidi Klum quipped that the one note they probably don’t want to hear is the red buzzer.

But they didn’t have to worry about that, because Resound delivered an incredible performance of “What the World Needs Now.” Not only did all three singers show off amazing individual vocals, but their harmonies were also fantastic.
Simon Cowell commented that he liked their arrangement of the song. At one point in the performance, the audience gave the trio a standing ovation. Simon gave them a thumbs up afterward. We’ll have to wait until Tuesday to find out if they made it through, but we have a feeling they did.
Who Is Singing Group Resound?
Resound is a gospel trio from Richmond, Virginia. As they explained in their audition, Jessica and Joseph have known each other since they were “in diapers,” and they met Mariah in high school.

The group has earned a large following on Facebook, where they post videos of themselves singing, often a cappella. In their audition, Mariah said they want to “use our gifts to spread love, hope, and joy to the world.”
They gained more attention after Ariana Grande shared one of their videos, leading them to perform on Good Morning America and The Late Show With David Letterman. Now Resound is hoping to make their dreams come true on AGT.
