Simon Cowell Wants To Return To TV After Massive Accident But Can He Pull It Off?

After having to step down from both Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent due to his recovery, Simon Cowell is expected to return to the head of the judge’s table this January. It’s been a long road to rebound from his terrifying accident over the summer, but the TV talent mogul has given producers a guarantee of his return. Exciting news for fans, but maybe none more excited than Cowell himself who is “raring to go.”
How ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Worked Without Simon
Simon Cowell, 61, was sidelined from the show after needing surgery on his back following his accident in August. While AGT featured various guest stars in his place, BGT brought on alum Ashley Banjo of Diversity to join the panel.
Now with Amanda Holden at the head, Ashley joined Alesha Dixon and David Walliams in deciding the fates of the talented acts this season. While Banjo seems to have been a good fit for the panel, they are ready to see Cowell back. A source tells The Sun “The panel are all really excited to have him back, though they thought Ashley did a great job and he’ll definitely perform on the show again next year with Diversity.”

Simon Hungry and Determined to Return
For Cowell, he has been eager to get back to work. The source mentioned “Simon was gutted at having to sit out the show this year. But he’s been totally focused on getting better and will definitely be back on the panel.” He had even tried to make an appearance for the recent BGT final but as learned by MailOnline, “Simon was advised not to fly back to the final by doctors. He is walking a lot and swimming and feeling great – but focusing on being on top form for the start of filming for Britain’s Got Talent 2021 in January.”

Healing For Himself, Motivated By the Love
The source from The Sun added, “He’s come on in leaps and bounds recently, thanks to letting his body heal, a healthy diet and some California sun. He’s also enjoyed being surrounded by his family. But he loves his job and is raring to go, especially as BGT offers so much joy and light entertainment in dark times.” There is no doubt BGT and its fans want Simon back and he is equally excited and ready to return to his fans.
