The original ‘American Idol’ trio is back!

We’ve missed these three over the years and since their final goodbye, once Idol left Fox, they’ve never made a grand entrance on another show. But that might all change! The famous TV trio made an appearance on Kelly Clarkson’s talk show where they discussed old Idol stories and current projects.

There was also a discussion on Kelly’s rise to fame with the judges thanking her for all she’s done and that they wouldn’t be where they are now without her. Aw!

Simon’s one wish for the future is…

To make a show with Paula and Randy again, of course! Throughout the years of TV talent, it’s becoming a trend that most panels just don’t show the same chemistry as they once did. A great example of true chemistry is the original American Idol lineup so we’re super excited to hear it’s on Simon’s agenda.

Here’s what Simon Cowell had to say: ‘If I had one wish, it would be to make another show with us again. That would be my number one’. He went on to explain the success of the show in finding stars and how that was the biggest reason why he loved doing it. And Simon’s right, great judging chemistry is the key to a show’s success.

For the many years that all three of them featured on the panel, the ratings were truly incredible! With over 30 million people watching every night, we can honestly say this was the show that led the way to the phenomenal era of TV talent shows. We owe it all to you Simon, Randy and Paula!
