Simon Cowell Talks About Rise In Bullying And How He Deals With It As A Father Of Young Son

Simon Cowell recently appeared on Breakfast Television to discuss his new judging role on Canadian Family’s Got Talent. However, whilst the TV boss sat down for a Skype interview, he touched on bullying and online comments and how he thinks it’s time for it all to go.

America’s Got Talent judge, Simon Cowell recently appeared on Breakfast Television via Skype to discuss his upcoming judging role on a new ‘Got Talent’ show in Canada. And, whilst Simon has on the topic of giving advice to contestants, he spoke on online comments and the rise in bullying.

“I always say to people, ‘can you forget about comments”. I always say, ‘don’t read comments’ because it’s just pointless. These people are the minority, what’s most important is the majority and luckily the majority of most people are really really positive,” began Cowell. “There’s always going to be haters out here and there’s a lot of bullying going on at the moment, and of course now as a dad, I have a real issue with that.”

Simon has claimed in the past that he worries that 6-year-old Eric may be bullied at some point during his time at school. The TV judge is adamant however, that if such a situation was to arise, they’d be the first to put an end to it.

Pictured have emerged, assuring fans at home that Cowell is indeed safely in quarantine in Malibu. On several occasions over the past month, Simon and his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman have been pictured taking walks on beaches, buying magazines and picking up new toys for their children to play with during lockdown.
Cowell told Breakfast Television that both he and his family are coping well in quarantine. So rest assured ‘Got Talent’ fans, he’s doing just fine!
