Simon Cowell Escorts Contestant Off The Stage Because She Won’t STOP Singing [VIDEO]

Some contestants just don’t know when to stop singing — like Jocelyn Hinton on The X Factor USA. In 2013, she failed to impress the judges, but wouldn’t give up on trying to convince them.
It went on for so long that judge Simon Cowell had to physically escort her off the stage. Check out Jocelyn’s awkward audition in the video below.

Jocelyn admitted that she doesn’t have any formal music training, but she compared herself to singers like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. “I am a diva,” the 34-year-old declared.
She brought that confidence on stage with her, telling the judges definitively that she would win the show. Jocelyn announced that she would be singing Katy Perry’s “Firework.”

Unfortunately, the performance didn’t go so well. At one point, she forgot the lyrics and assured the judges, “I got it, I got it.” Judge Kelly Rowland had to prompt her for the next part of the song. It was clear from the judges’ faces that they weren’t feeling it.
Simon held up his hand to stop the song, and Jocelyn told him, “I’m sorry, Simon. That’s really not my style.” In response, Simon told her, “The best part was when you actually forgot the words.”

Jocelyn didn’t let Simon’s critique stop her. She immediately launched into a dramatic rendition of “Saving All My Love For You” by Whitney Houston. Demi Lovato eventually told her, “Okay, stop. Just stop. Please.”

She insisted on one more song, interrupting Simon to belt out another tune. “You know what?” she declared. “I’m holding the microphone too close.” Simon assured her that wasn’t the problem as she continued to sing.
When he told her she wouldn’t be going through, Jocelyn just started singing again. So Simon took matters into his own hands, stepping on stage, putting his arm around her, and taking her off stage. “Next year,” he told her. As he returned to the judges’ table, he said, “We would have been here all night.”
