Sibling Trio Tragically Lost Their Mom — Pay Emotional Tribute On ‘America’s Got Talent’
NBC Joshua, Bethany and Manny make up the sibling band We Three that performed on season 13 of America’s Got Talent. They captivated the audience and the judges with their incredible story about honoring their mother’s legacy. Check out all of their ‘AGT’ performances below that will probably make you cry.
We Three Shared Their Emotional Story On ‘America’s Got Talent’
We Three were inspired by the fact that their father also had a family band with his siblings when he was younger. Their mother manned the soundboard for the band and encouraged her children to take up performing. Sadly, their mother was diagnosed with cancer and fought a hard battle before ultimately passing away. Their sibling bond has remained strong throughout the difficult things they experienced in their life and decided to celebrate and honor her memory by performing an original song. The emotional power ballad had literally everyone in tears. They advanced on to the Judge Cuts after it became clear that their incredible talents could take them all the way to the top. They performed another original song about vulnerability which prompted a standing ovation from the audience and the judges.

We Three advanced into the live shows and made it all the way to the semifinals after failing to get the Dunkin Save. This came after Simon Cowell suggested they try a new sound or something different to resonate better with the audience. However, their powerful story and impact on the show will definitely be remembered as one of the most talented musical groups in America’s Got Talent history.
Where Are They Now?
Immediately after appearing on America’s Got Talent, We Three put out a self-titled album that included the original songs they performed on the show along with nine new ones. They began a huge phenomenon on the Radio Disney and iHeart Radio music stations. Back in February, they announced they would be embarking on a European tour which has since been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The group also released a new album called “Dear Paranoia, Sincerely Me” on May 1. Singer Manny has taken on more of the songwriting as opposed to writing the songs as a group. “And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized it’s a real passion for me and I want to continue to get better at it. So right now, I pretty much do all of the songwriting and then bring it to the group and we kind of decide what songs need what” he told American Songwriter.”
We Three have been holding virtual concerts amid the pandemic along with dropping new music videos including the newest one called “Hold Me Baby” back in July. Check out the super fun video that is definitely a different style than what they performed on ‘AGT.’
