Louis Walsh’s Reaction To The Shocking Mel B Groping Video
Louis Walsh, the long time X Factor judge, faced huge controversy last year after a video resurfaced of him sexually groping judge Mel B on air when they both made the judging lineup in 2014. He’s now back on new spin off show ‘X Factor: Celebrity’ which has left us guessing as to what Simon missed.
Louis Walsh groping Mel B during live interview in 2014
The video, that went viral last year, showed continuous invasive and inappropriate behaviour by Louis throughout the show in 2014. Mel was so uncomfortable that she stopped the interview, it was followed by some laughs and the interview continued. Years later, it’s now catching attention and people are taking to Twitter to express their concerns…
Louis’ statement after the interview went viral
The judge did in fact make a statement on ‘Today FM’ after he was asked about the incident; He said, “We’d be sitting there all day on the couch doing TV, and I just grabbed her arse as a joke.” Although that’s not convincing many, it’s convinced Simon enough to allow Louis to return so, we can only hope that he’s learnt his lesson. The judge is not only appearing on the ‘Celebrity’ version of the show but will also feature on ‘All Stars’ too.
Mel B not taking part in America’s Got Talent
It has also been announced, earlier this year that Mel will not be taking part in America’s Got Talent any longer. Judge Gabrielle Union replaced her on AGT and Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon taking her spot on ‘The Champions’ version. Mel is busy this year touring for the long awaited Spice Girls reunion across the UK.
‘X Factor: Celebrity’ continues
The opinion divided spin off show will continues with more hopeful celebrities singing for a place in the upcoming live shows. Former talk show host Ricki Lake is among them and in an exclusive teaser expressed her excitement to ‘surprise people’. ‘Love Actually’ star Olivia Olson will also performed after mentioning she ‘has not been seen for a while’.
‘X Factor: Celebrity’ is being aired on both ITV (UK) and AXS TV (USA)
