SHOCKING ‘DWTS’ Behind The Scene Hook-Up!

Dancing With the Stars is infamous for its “showmances” – contestants and pros hooking up with each other (or at least pretending to) in an attempt to get more votes. But what many fans don’t know is that there have been even more relationships going on behind-the-scenes that were never shown on TV. The most recent example? Season 27 contestants Bobby Bones and Nikki Glaser.
Nikki and Bobby’s Behind-The-Scenes Hookup
Even though Nikki was the first contestant to be eliminated from Season 27, she’s had plenty to say about her experience on DWTS and the show in general over the past year. She’s told a lot of fun – and at times, surprising – stories about her brief time competing, but she dropped a pretty big bomb on The Howard Stern Show a few weeks ago: she and fellow contestant Bobby Bones had been hooking up behind closed doors.
Nikki told Howard that while she was considering ending things with her boyfriend at the time, she and Bobby started hooking up – nothing further than making out and “some light petting”, but enough that she decided to firmly end her relationship in order to fully explore the potential with Bobby. However, she claimed that as soon as the break-up was official, Bobby stopped replying to her messages and their fling quickly fizzled out.
Bobby’s Take On The ‘DWTS’ Hook Up

This week, ET asked Bobby about what went down between he and Nikki, with him explaining: “Here’s the thing, Nikki was like, ‘Bobby ghosted me.’ I was on her radio show two weeks prior to that! There was a little hyperbole there,” he recalled. “She’s so funny, and as someone who creates content to be funny, I was fine with her saying whatever. Whatever makes Howard Stern laugh, because he’s the greatest. Whatever for a good story But we definitely dated-ish,” later adding, “She’s so full of crap though, in that I ghosted her. She’s so full of crap, because after Dancing with the Stars, I kept dancing. I brought her back for my final dance and then I went to her show in Vegas and then I did her radio show.
The American Idol mentor didn’t show any signs of being upset at any truth that he believed may have been stretched, saying “Howard Stern called me wildly successful and I was like, ‘That’s the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me. And it wouldn’t have happened had she not been on that show.” (That’s pretty on-brand for a guy who was happy to have “[broken] the system” with his Dancing With the Stars win.)
