Singer Harry Styles had a scary experience earlier this month when he was reportedly mugged at knifepoint. Harry had stayed silent about the incident in recent weeks, but he finally spoke out today.
Harry made an appearance on Today this morning to perform his music and promote his upcoming tour. During the interview, the singer was asked about the mugging.
Harry Styles Talks About Mugging
Host Carson Daly brought up the mugging, and while he said they wouldn’t go into details, he asked Harry if he was okay. “I’m okay, thanks, thank you,” Harry told Carson. “Thanks for asking.”
The incident apparently occurred on Valentine’s Day in London, just hours before news broke of the death of Harry’s ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack. A man apparently threatened Harry with a knife and took cash from him.
A source said Harry was “shaken up” after the incident, but he still made it to the BRIT Awards a few days later, wearing a black ribbon in honor of Caroline. We’re glad to hear that Harry is doing okay now.
