Shady Cheating Rumors Surround Kelly Clarkson And Brandon Blackstock’s Divorce
GettyImages Kelly Clarkson has a pretty busy life working on The Voice, The Kelly Clarkson Show and tons of other music appearances. Her ongoing divorce drama with Brandon Blackstock has definitely not been easy as cheating allegations have resurfaced adding fuel to their already messy split.
Kelly Clarkson And Brandon Blackstock’s Divorce Is Fueled By Cheating Rumors
Kelly was just recently awarded primary physical custody of their two children. Court documents have painted a picture of the custody battle in the couples very public divorce. The document stated that “the level of conflict between the parents has increased. The parties have a difficult time co-parenting due to issues of trust between them.”
These trust issues have been building up for years. Brandon was previously married once before to a woman named Melissa Ashworth. The pair were together from 2001 to 2012. Their family friend Jerry Reed accused Brandon of “running around on” Melissa throughout the marriage. The pair had two children together. When Brandon married Kelly, a woman came forward to say that she was also having relations with him at the time. “We haven’t slept together, but we’ve been intimate in other ways,” the woman said. Melissa spoke out and said that the rumors were untrue and she fully supported Kelly and Brandon’s marriage.

Cheating rumors continued to follow Brandon throughout he and Kelly’s first year of marriage. Another woman came forward to The Dirty to allege that she hooked up with Brandon while he was with The Voice coach.
“[At an afterparty], Brandon approached a group of my friends and I and bought us drinks” she said. “We all went back to his hotel room and had more drinks. My friends left but I stayed behind and yes, we had sex that night. I’m also now (5 months) pregnant. It was the first time I’d ever had a one night stand and I’m so ashamed by it. I even asked him about Kelly and his reply was, ‘She ain’t gotta know. This kind of thing happens in this business all the time.'”
Kelly Did Address The Cheating Rumors In The Past
Kelly actually responded to the cheating accusations on Twitter. “Keep hearing random rumors of me & Brandon splitting or that’s he’s cheating on me. Stop with all the lying please #aintnobodygottimeforthat” she wrote.
The Voice coach also put out another tweet that said that the rumors really affect Brandon’s two older children the most.
Brandon Blackstock Has Been Accused Of Cheating Multiple Times Throughout The Marriage
“I know The Dirty just did a story on Brandon Blackstock and I wanted to come forward to let you know that I have been involved with him as well – quite a bit more seriously than the other woman” another woman who claimed to be involved with Brandon in 2013 said.
“It amazes me how manipulative this guy can be” the woman added. “One minute he’s professing his undying love for his wife (Kelly Clarkson) and the next minute he’s stepping out on her when she’s not looking.”
But still, these claims were brushed off as Kelly and Brandon got ready to welcome daughter River Rose who is now six years old and son Remington Alexander, 4. Even with all of the rumors, Kelly and Brandon stayed in their marriage for nearly seven years before Kelly filed for divorce back in June citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Brandon is currently seeking nearly half a million dollars a month in child and spousal support along with $2 million in legal fees. Kelly has very openly spoken about the divorce on The Kelly Clarkson Show and how it has affected her children.
