Sexy Singer Tries to Embody ‘Magic Mike’ in An Embarrassing Audition
YouTube Scott Wilkes considers himself a ladies man. He even mentions before his audition that he gets whistled at all the time when he’s walking down the street. The young singer knows he’s good looking and even auditioned for X Factor UK with his shirt mostly unbuttoned. Showing off his body. Even though Scott did have a good voice, his obsession with his looks and uncomfortable interaction with the audience makes his performance rather cringe to watch.
The Audience Crushes on Scott
The 22-year-old explains to the camera that his looks are very important to him. He even boasts that he gets his eyebrows done and puts effort into his hair. All the work he puts into his look came in handy, as he is greeted by whistles from the audience. He also calls himself a ladies’ man and all the women in the audience are seen crushing on Scott. Even one audience member is seen commenting, “he is fine!”

Scott also gets the attention of judges Ayda Fields, after she tells him she loves his accent. Not only does Ayda admire that about him she also is very happy to hear that her husband Robbie Williams is one of many inspirations to Scott. Performing a swing song, Ayda tells him happily, “I wanna swing with you Scott!”
Scott Wilkes Takes it All Off
Right away into his performance Scott shows off his good vocals and impresses Robbie Williams. That impressive voice begins to fade into the background as Scotts conceited personality shines through. His interactions with the audience begin to make everyone uncomfortable.
“I’ve got a good question, who wants me to take my shirt off?” he asks the audience who are not pleased by this at all. Even though nobody responds to his requests, hes still proceeds to take his shirt off either way! “Cheer louder” he tells the audience, but nobody is cheering for him.

It was not only embarrassing for Scott but also for his family, who are backstage laughing of embarrassment. “He’s the shy one in the family?” jokes Dermot O’Leary with the family. Scott receives no applauds after he performs, not even from Ayda who seemed to be looking forward to his audition. What he does receive is good advice from the judges who tell him that he needs to humble himself.
“I think you’ve got a really good voice and I don’t thin you need to do all that.” Says Louis Tomlinson nicely. Robbie Williams also tells him to dial it down, “You need to dial that down by 3 and knock off a bit of humility. Or else your talent will go missing cause nobody is going to like you.”
Even though Scott didn’t get to go on in the competition the X Factor judges and audience will not forget the cringe performance.
