Back in July, Nicki made the pregnancy announcement on Instagram to her 123 million followers. Of course, her pictures were extravagant and colorful to match her iconic personality. Though we do not yet know the gender of the baby, could you imagine if Nicki gave birth to the next big rap goddess?

Nicki has been married to Kenneth Petty since October 21, 2019. He is a music industry professional that Nicki has been head over heels for since she met him. At first, she was very open about their relationship but has been a little quiet about it in recent years. After tying the knot, she even announced she would be retiring from the rap game to start a family. But, she has still continued to dominate the rap scene even after taking a step back with her feature on Kanye West’s song “New Body” going viral on TikTok. Now Nicki is enjoying her pregnancy bliss. In the first picture posted by the former American Idol judge, she wore a blue wig with a matching pink and blue outfit and ultra-high platform shoes.
Recently, Nicki posted a photo from a vacation in Trinidad. “While I was in Trinidad earlier this year, I had the worst morning sickness of all time” she captioned the post. “Didn’t know morning sickness could last all day either. But nevertheless, this is one of the pics I took b4 you could see my lil baby bump.”

Nicki has amassed a huge following of fans over the years, or “Barbz” as she likes to call them. Twitter is buzzing with messages congratulating the couple.
“I AM SO PROUD OF YOU. AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF PROVING YOUR LEGACY IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE, AND MOVING A GENERATION OF BOTH PEOPLE AND WOMEN TO BECOME JUST LIKE YOU, YOU HAVE HAD YOUR FIRST CHILD, WHICH WAS LONG AWAITED FOR” wrote one fan in all caps, clearly excited for this new arrival.
“I love TF out of you @NICKIMINAJ, like you don’t understand how I’ve watched you grow and prosper in the music industry, and how you’ve been an inspiration to me. I just want nothing but happiness for you in life and whatever makes you happy is pure and genuine. CONGRATS NICKI” wrote another fan.
Others joked that Nicki’s baby is going to have a rap career of their own in the future.
