PREVIEW: ‘The Four’ Finale Song Choices + Our Winner Predictions
It’s The Four Finale! They’ve secured the bag but now The Four finalists will go head-to-head for the win! Whitney Reign, James Graham, Leah Jenea, and Sharaya J are the last four standing. In what will likely be some of the best battles of the season, this preview shows all the finalists singing for their lives. Watch the teaser clip below:
The preview doesn’t give away too much but it does show clips of a performance from each finalist. So who will come out on top? Let’s look at each finalist’s song choice and their odds to win it all!
First up is Whitney Reign singing “Lady Marmalade” by Labelle. This is a great song choice for her, since it takes a lot of personality to pull off! She’s definitely going for the kill here. But considering she is pretty widely regarded as the weakest finalist, I don’t see her making it past the first challenge no matter who she’s up against. It was shocking when she beat Ali Caldwell for a seat in the Finale last week! And to be honest, I still think this spot belongs to Ali.
Next up is James Graham with another classic MJ hit, “Rock With You.” James had a standout moment earlier this season singing Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature.” This performance looks like it will be another memorable one! He has been on the show every single week, thanks to the Comeback, and is a dominating force to be reckoned with. According to our poll on Twitter, he is the hands-down favorite to win it all. But I’m sure the producers will want to make it interesting! I anticipate he’ll get a rematch with Leah Jenea and also go up against fellow OG member of The Four Sharaya J at some point in the night. But the order of the two will be interesting to see!
After James’ preview, we see Leah Jenea singing “True Colors” by Cindy Lauper. This is an interesting choice for her! I think Leah Jenea has a beautiful voice and a captivating tone but I don’t know if this slow, overdone ballad will showcase it. Then again, she managed to completely put her own twist on The Weeknd and it was epic! So I don’t doubt Leah Jenea’s ability, but I also don’t think this will be the song that puts her on top. Especially after the other performance previews, Leah Jenea’s short run on The Four could be in jeopardy.
Finally, we have Sharaya J. Sharaya J can already claim her title as the longest-seated member in The Four history. She has taken down every opponent that challenged her all season. She is fierce and continues to up her game every week. And she’s done it all while battling cancer. If there’s one fighter this season, it’s definitely Sharaya J. And from the looks of it, she’s bringing quite the appetite for the Finale! Rapping over “Juicy” by The Notorious B.I.G., she has some huge shoes to fill. But Sharaya J seems to approach it with her typical fire and smooth flow. If we don’t see her in the final two, I would be absolutely shocked.
So maybe a final battle between James Graham and Sharaya J will be in the near future? But it’s hard to say who would win in that match-up if that is the case. According to our Twitter poll, 55% of our followers believe James Graham will take home the win. So the numbers would say that he is the favorite here. But there’s only one way to find out for sure! The Four Finale airs tomorrow night.
