Poll: Who Will Win ‘The X Factor UK’ 2018?
We now know who our final three are in The X Factor UK. Scarlett Lee, Dalton Harris, and Anthony Russell will vocally battle next week to see who will be victorious. Honestly, it could go any one of the three ways and it would be understandable. It’s been a great season and they are all terrific singers…but there can be only one. Who will win The X Factor UK?
Let’s start out with Dalton Harris. There is no doubt that pound for pound he’s the best singer among the two guys. His voice is so buttery smooth that you just want to spread it on toast. He’s also got style and, no pun intended, he does have that x factor. Perhaps people have forgotten what the name of the show means. The x factor is that ineffable quality that’s hard to quantify that makes one person a star and another not. Dalton definitely has that star quality. He oozes charisma on stage. It’s a shame that all the British press seems to care about is Dalton’s sexuality. It’s 2018, guys. Who cares if he’s gay? I don’t care as long as I can hear that voice.
But let’s not count out Scarlett Lee. She’s got this second coming of Adele thing going for her. She’s got a terrific voice and a fun, spunky attitude. She’s also got the great story that her family house burned down and Simon Cowell helped her family out. That’s tragic but makes for great TV. She’s a little rough around the edges but I’m sure that it’s nothing that a team of fixers can’t…er…fix. I have a feeling that it’s going to come down to her and Dalton.
However, we should not forget about Anthony Russell. He’s like one of those boxers that keeps getting knocked down and staggers up for more. Can he sing as well as Dalton? No way. But he’s got a ton of charisma and people love to cheer on an underdog. He came on the show last year but had to drop out for some personal reasons. He came back and has gotten all the way to the finals. We love underdogs even more here in the U.S. than they do in Britain, but he could still pull it off.
So, who do you think is going to win?
