Now that America’s Got Talent season 16 is over, you can audition for season 17! Casting is now open and next year is set to be bigger than ever than ever.
During the hiatus, our favorite judges have been busier than ever. Cowell began filming the AGT spinoff AGT: Extreme earlier this month, but the show has been delayed following a near-death accident on set. While performing a stunt, Jonathan Goodwin was crushed by two cars that then caught on fire. After being airlifted to the hospital, he shared with fans that he is recovering and grateful to be alive.
Meanwhile up north, America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel has signed on to be a judge for the return of Canada’s Got Talent. The show is set to begin filming early in 2022, which would leave the comedian just enough time to get back to L.A. to film America’s Got Talent season 17.
Canada’s Got Talent is the newest series in the Got Talent franchise. This series will returned to air after nearly ten years.
