Pakistani Sandwich-Maker Performs Bollywood Act On America’s Got Talent
NBC Mohammed Kashif Memon who hails from Pakistan performs on a Bollywood dance act on Season 2 of America’s Got Talent. He currently lives in Skokie, Illinois.

He was a Pakistani sandwich-maker when he made an appearance on the show. Kashif performed on the ‘Top 20’ round of ‘America’s Got Talent.’
Before the show, he said, “I’m going to rock the house.”
Kashif’s audition in Episode 203 consisted of Bollywood dancing to “Ek Pal Ka Jeena.” Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted “Yes”, sending him to the Vegas Round.
In the “Variety” category in Vegas round his performance consisted of Bollywood dancing and lip-synching to “Dil Ne Dil Ko Pukara.” His audition was strong enough to send him to the Semifinals.
Kashif’s Semifinals performed to “Say Shava Shava” with backup dancers this time. Piers Morgan buzzed the act. Kashif did not receive enough votes to be sent to the Top 10, eliminating him from the competition.
After ‘AGT’, Kashif Has Been criticized By Pakistani blogs
Meanwhile, he was criticized in the Pakistani media blogs. One critique commented, “Pakistani copying Indian dance moves and songs ..shame on him…”
While another said, “I wonder if the voting system is actually legit.I do not think people would vote for him. I think it was embarrassing to watch. At first, I was excited that a Pakistani dude was on a show like this. But I think it was mainly to entertain the audience by showing them how stupid this guy is. But he does look innocent. I wish it was someone that was really good at something.”
Another commented, ” What the hell is he doing!!!!”
