Ouch! Rihanna ‘Embarrassed’ Of Being Seen With Travis Scott & Kept Their Relationship A Secret

Did you even know that Rihanna and Travis Scott dated briefly in 2015? Don’t worry, neither did the rest of the world since the pair kept their relationship under wraps. Now new information is coming to light about Rihanna throwing some major shade at Travis.

One Twitter user posted some pictures of the couple as they tried to keep their relationship hidden from the public eye. In one of the photos, the pair hugged while at a party and looked pretty cozy with each other.

Rihanna Was “Embarrassed” To Be Dating The Rapper

Lawrence Schlossman, co-host of the menswear podcast Throwing Fits, spilled the tea and exposed the relationship between the two during a recent episode. In this episode, Schlossman and his co-hosts spoke about celebrities that they interviewed that actually ended up hating them. He mentioned Travis and everyone was eager to know why. Travis was interviewed by Schlossman in a cover-story for Complex magazine. He asked the rapper details about his relationship with Rihanna which he was specifically asked not to do. He recalled Travis being extremely angry for breaking the news of their relationship and it led him to believe that Rihanna was actually the one that wanted to keep it a secret.

Schlossman said “It’s not because [Travis is] like, ‘Don’t tell anyone I’m smashing Rihanna.’ ‘It’s because Rihanna’s like, ‘Don’t tell anyone that I’m smashing Travis Scott, please.’ [It’s] obviously embarrassing as f***.” Ouch, that’s pretty harsh. She just did not want anyone to know that the rumors were true. We wonder what she was so embarrassed about regarding Travis.

The Couple Had Rumors Swirling When Travis Mentioned Riri At A Concert

At his sold-out show in Santa Ana in 2015, Travis changed one of the lyrics to the song 3500. He changed the lyrics to “One time for the Riri that’ll let me touch it.” The crowd went crazy as this seemingly confirmed that there was some kind of relationship between the two after months of rumors. It is not clear if Rihanna was in attendance at that show.

She was also seen out with Travis in New York City and she did attend Travis’ show at the Gramercy Theatre. This was also all the more reason to confirm that they had something going on between them. But, it obviously wasn’t ever-lasting love because they called it quits and went their separate ways. Travis met Kylie Jenner in 2017 and the two welcomed their daughter Stormi in 2018. They broke up in 2019 and are continuing to co-parent and quarantine together in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The rapper is clearly not letting his past drama with Rihanna affect his career though. Especially since more people are realizing that they dated. He is celebrating the success of his new song “TKN” with Spanish singer Rosalia.
