Nicole Scherzinger ‘Breaks Out’ In Sexy Freestyle Routine [VIDEO]

Nicole Scherzinger isn’t going to let quarantine stop her from dancing. The Masked Singer judge posted a new freestyle routine on Instagram Tuesday, and it makes us want to move.
Nicole teased the routine with smaller clips earlier this week, before finally dropping the full video on her IGTV. Check it out below, and read what she had to say about the dance.
Nicole Scherzinger Posts Freestyle Dance
Nicole’s dance is set to “Bassa Sababa” by Netta, whom she called her new favorite artist in a comment on a previous post. In the clip, she wears black leggings and a sports bra. Light streams into the room from the window behind her.
“With everything going on right now, I was feeling like I needed to ‘break out’ and to just ‘break through!” Nicole wrote in the caption of the video. “So I tried something new.”

She added that she understands why it’s called “freestyle,” as she found it “freeing.” The video was shot in one take and one shot. She encouraged her followers to “let it all go and see what happens.”
In the routine, Nicole shows off a variety of powerful and sexy moves. She also connects with the camera, which moves around the room thanks to work by Patrick Dwyer (credited in Nicole’s Instagram Stories).
How Is Nicole Spending Quarantine?
Nicole has been posting frequent photos and videos from her time in quarantine. She’s spent it dancing, working out, and hanging out with her boyfriend Thom Evans. She always encourages her followers to join in.

In March, Nicole posted some at-home workouts with Thom, including the information for her fans to recreate the routines at home. More recently, she posted the #DontChaDanceChallenge, asking followers to dance to the Pussycat Dolls song “Don’t Cha.”
Nicole will also appear as a judge on this Wednesday’s Masked Singer finale, which was pre-taped before the pandemic. We can’t wait to find out who wins.
