One little piggy is joining RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 and another is basking in his Masked Singer win. Nick Lachey was crowned the winner of The Masked Singer Season 5 after competing as The Piglet. It was the ultimate talent show crossover when he decided to weigh in on Miss Piggy’s latest announcement. She will finally be appearing on Drag Race after manifesting it one year ago.
Miss Piggy Will Appear on ‘Drag Race’ and Nick Lachey Has a Funny Response
Honestly, Lachey’s win on The Masked Singer came as a bit of a shock to some who were rooting for JoJo as The Black Swan. The judges were captivated by Lachey’s emotional performances all season long. In his clue packages, he spoke about how his wife, Vanessa Lachey, has changed his life around so much. He pulled at the heart stings of viewers in ways we never knew a masked pig could. The Piglet is a part of him forever.
“I swear it’s not me…….though I know I’ve said this before,” Lachey hilariously said about Miss Piggy’s RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars stint.
The queen of the muppets is probably going to be wearing her most glamorous outfit yet on the show which airs on Paramount+ on June 24. Miss Piggy may be the most iconic pig in Hollywood, but Lachey’s run on The Masked Singer is definitely a close second. It would be epic if these two decided to collaborate on a duet in the future.
Her boyfriend Kermit The Frog also competed on The Masked Singer this season as The Snail. Lachey bested Kermit in the competition but Kermit deserves kudos for having an absolute blast on stage. The judges even declared that he is the most famous contestant that has ever been on The Masked Singer. Miss Piggy is just following along in his talent show path now, ready to bring her allure to the most fascinating show on television.
Guest judges announced for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6 include Aisha Tyler, Big Freedia, Charli XCX, Emma Roberts, Jamal Sims, Justin Simien, Tia Mowry, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and Zaldy. Alec Mapa, Angela Bassett, Cheyenne Jackson, Fortune Feimster, Jermaine Fowler, Tanya Tucker, and Miss Piggy will make guest appearances on the show presumably while the contestants are in The Werk Room.
