It’s no secret that The Masked Singer host Nick Cannon has practically broken the internet with the arrival of his 12 children. Since Cannon hasn’t announced that he’s expecting in a while, various outlets have asked what his family expansion plans are.
Nick Cannon Says Having More Children Isn’t Up to Him
At this point, Nick Cannon is notoriously known for his personal life, more than his life on screen. After welcoming five children into the world with five different mothers, fans are dying to know what’s next for the television personality.
Cannon’s large family has been met with tons of criticism, since his ideals differ from society. Nonetheless, people are wondering when The Masked Singer host plans to throw in the flag and say enough is enough.
“God decides when we’re done, but I definitely got my hands full.” Cannon said to Entertainment Tonight. “And I’m so focused. I’m locked in. But, when I’m 85, you never know I might [have more].”
Although it’s surely a lot of work, Cannon is always sure to show off time spent with each of his children. It was even reported that The Masked Singer host took the time to arrange Christmas celebrations with each child.
“Everybody thinks it’s time management. It’s energy management,” he said. “Once we’re all aligned, the flow is a lot easier. If there’s any kind of low frequencies or dissension in there, that’s what messes up the scheduling.”
He went on to explain that he’s attempting to be the best father he can be, alongside each child’s mother. Apparently, if both parents are trying their hardest scheduling is rather easy.
He Says His Kids Futures’ Are Bright
As a parent, you always want your kid to succeed. As many, Cannon hopes each of his children will have bright futures. To ensure their success, the personality plans to aid them in anyway possible, even if it means using his connections.
“It’s a blessing, man. Like, hopefully, because of what I am able to do, my kids can do whatever they want to do, to be able to be in a position that if they want to be a nuclear physicist, I know somebody at an Ivy League school that I could [hit up],” Cannon said. “If they want to go into the military, if they want to be artists, if they want to be actors, it’s a thing where we have the capability.”
He hopes that his children’s interests will peak at a young age, so he can help prepare them for whatever they want to be. It seems like Cannon will soon begin working on this type of success with his eldest children Moroccan (11) and Monroe (11).
Aside from his children with Mariah Carey, Cannon also has a set of twin boys Zion and Zillion (19 months) and a 3-month-old daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa. He also has Rise Messiah (4 months) and Golden Sagon (6) and Powerful Queen (2) with Brittany Bell.
In addition, he shares Legendary Love (7 months) with Bre Tiesi and daughter Onyx Ice (4 months) with LaNisha Cole. Model Alyssa Scott gave birth to his most recent child, Halo Marie in December 2022. The couple also shares late son Zen, whom died of brain cancer, with Scott.
