Model Romee Strijd Posts Nude Pregnancy Photos For An Important Cause
Instagram Pregnant Dutch supermodel Romee Strijd stripped down to show off her growing baby bump in a new spread for Dsection Magazine. She was also joined by her husband Laurens van Leeuwen for some photos as they await the arrival of their little one. Romee reposted the photos side by side with throwback pictures from before she was pregnant.

Romee had been trying to get pregnant for two years before finding out she had polycystic ovary syndrome, a hormonal disorder that may decrease fertility for women of child-bearing age. Her body was always in “fight or flight mode” as she explained her pregnancy journey in a YouTube video. This was because as a Victoria’s Secret model, she followed a strict workout schedule, was always traveling and eating a restrictive diet. It took a toll on her body and made her stress out which in turn was not good given her disorder.
Now, she is in full bliss mode as the pair are expecting to welcome the child within the next month. The couple posed together for the “Embracing Life Issue” of the magazine. For every copy that is sold, one tree will be planted. These photos were a re-imagined version of photos she had taken years prior.
When she was diagnosed with PCOS, she was very emotional because the dream of having babies naturally seemed unattainable for her. “My world collapsed because my biggest dream was always to start a family with Laurens” she said in her YouTube video. This prompted her to start making more lifestyle changes like less high-intensity training, not restricting foods, taking breaks from work and trying natural supplements. The couple moved to Amsterdam to spend more time with their family after spending years in America to fulfill Romee’s dream of being a Victoria’s Secret model.
She also posed another black and white solo shot and once again reposted a side by side picture to show off how her belly has grown during her pregnancy.
The Model Has Not Been Shy About Posting Revealing Pictures During Her Pregnancy
Romee also looked stunning in a cropped sweater and skirt for the Motherhood Issue of Vogue Netherlands. She wrote that she was “so grateful to share the @nlvogue cover with my little one.”
In another Instagram post she donned a pink bra and cradled her bump for a little update after 30 weeks.
Romee wore a pink lacy lingerie outfit in another post looking completely gorgeous.
This mom to be also had some fun in the sun in a few photos and videos posted during a beach day in The Netherlands. She wore a leopard print bikini and a sun hat as she blew kisses to the camera in one of the videos.

Romee credits all of her recent lifestyle changes in making all of the difference and leading her to this exciting point of having a baby.
