Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Season 8 premiere of The Masked Singer is fast approaching and animated character Miss Masky is giving us a behind the scenes look. In a new Instagram post, she offers a peek at the backstage trailers for talent on the show.
Miss Masky Shows Us Backstage at The Masked Singer
“They told me not to show you the talent trailers… but I just couldn’t help myself!” reads the new video shared by Miss Masky. “Please don’t tell anyone I showed you this!”
The video provides a bird’s eye view of the area devoted to trailers for the cast. The bird’s eye view includes a turf-covered space with lounge chairs and even a game of cornhole. The area is covered by strings of lights and also features a TV monitor.
Crew members can be seen setting up lights in the brief clip. At one point, Miss Masky points to a crew member and asks, “Who do you think that is?”
We’re not sure if it’s anyone we’re supposed to recognize, or if Miss Masky is just teasing us. Nonetheless, we’re eager to understand the reference.

She Shares Clues About This Year’s Stars
In another Instagram video from earlier this week, Miss Masky offered some more juicy information about this season of the show. She took us on a quick tour of the studio while offering some facts about the celebrities who are under the masks.
The new cast includes one former mayor, 26 Grammy nominations, two Golden Globes, and eight MTV Video Music Awards. As someone in the comments pointed out, last season featured former mayor Rudy Giuliani, which didn’t go so well. However, another fan thinks it might actually be an actor who played a mayor.
Season 8 premieres Wednesday, September 21, at 8/7c on FOX. The show has revealed several costumes so far, including Bride, Avocado, Venus Fly Trap, Sir Bug a Boo, Scarecrow, Mummies, and Hedgehog.
