“Go and sit in your mansion and shut up,” began Morgan in a mid-show rant. The anchor was then asked by co-host Susanna Reid if they should stop talking about the couple for the rest of the week, upon which Piers agreed. “You know what, great idea. No, seriously. That’s a great idea. They’ve banned a number of newspapers. Today, we’re banning Meghan and Harry from Good Morning Britain for the foreseeable future. You’re done. Toast. It’s over.”

Morgan’s furious GMB rant comes after the former members of the Royal Family announced they will no longer work or communicate with the UK’s tabloid newspapers. The couple told the newspaper editors that they will no longer respond to any inquiry or statement requests from The Sun, Daily Mail, The Mirror or The Express. Harry and Meghan stated they are no longer interested in offering themselves to what they call, ‘clickbait and distortion’ from the news outlets.
Ever since Harry and Meghan made headlines after their controversial exit from the Royal Family, Piers Morgan has engaged in non-stop scrutiny of the couple. The Daily Mail writer and GMB host even appeared on Fox’s ‘HARRY AND MEGHAN: THE ROYALS IN CRISIS’ to discuss his fear of Harry and Meghan becoming global celebrities and the possible destruction it may have to the image of the Royal Family.
