Meet The Instagram Models Who Were Liked By Pope Francis’ Instagram Account
Two Instagram models’ lives have changed forever after receiving Instagram likes on their photos from Pope Francis. His Instagram account with 7.6 million followers has created a lot of buzz after screenshots spread like wildfire of him giving his stamp of approval on the sexy photos. Who are the two models that got a thumbs up from The Pope?
The Pope Liked Natalia Garibotto And Margot Foxx’s Racy Instagram Posts
In November, the head of the Catholic Church liked an Instagram picture of a bikini model named Natalia Garibotto. This caught the attention of her followers and the entire world as screenshots began circulating around the internet. It proved to be beneficial for her budding career as an influencer.
“I make money off Instagram,” the Brazilian beauty told Page Six. An Instagram like from The Pope gave her “more leverage” with brands that she works with after she gained 600,000 followers. She now has 2.7 million Instagram followers.
She continued on to say that the Instagram like from The Pope gave her “confidence to post more in clothes and make deals in fashion.” The 27-year-old lives in Miami and also has her own platform on Twitch as an avid gamer.
Just last week, X-rated model Margot Foxx retweeted a screenshot of The Pope liking her post on Instagram. While her Instagram is currently set to private, many believe that the screenshot is real. She posts content on the adult site OnlyFans and promotes her content on social media platforms. The picture featured her wearing a tight black leather bodysuit.
“Why am I getting all this in news articles and shit but y’all aren’t subbing to my OF in record numbers? Pope endorsed me b*tch like what else do you need?” Margot wrote on Twitter.
What Is The Truth Behind These Instagram Likes?
The big question here is did The Pope actually like these models’ Instagram photos? The Vatican actually conducted an investigation to figure out the truth behind the Instagram likes. “We can exclude that the ‘like’ came from the Holy See, and it has turned to Instagram for explanations,” a Vatican spokesperson said.
The Pope’s Instagram account is managed by a team of people so the like on Natalia’s photo was first pegged as a mistake. But for it to happen two times, there has been a ton of speculation about what is actually happening behind the scenes. It seems that The Pope does not approve of everything that happens on his social media accounts before it is posted.
“He does, for example, approve the tweets – but not the likes – and on very rare occasions he has said he would like to tweet something because of a developing situation or emergency” editor Robert Mickens said. “So he would have nothing to do with this – it’s the communications department, and how this happens … who knows.”
The Pope’s likes on the racy photos have since been deleted.
