One of the most impressive acts to appear on AGT Season 14 is Marcin Patrzalek. The young guitarist has blown the judges away since his audition, and now he has a chance to go to the finals.

Who Is Marcin Patrzalek?
Marcin is 18 years old, and grew up in Poland. He started playing guitar when he was just 10 years old. His online performances have racked up tens of millions of views, and he’s also appeared on other talent shows in the past.
He won the Polish show Must Be the Music in 2015, and last year he won the Italian show Tu Si Que Vales. According to his AGT bio, Marcin enjoys “contrasting genres,” and plays “melody, bass, harmony and percussion simultaneously.” He began composing original music when he was 16.
In 2016, Marcin released an album called HUSH. He said in his audition that he intends to relocate to the United States to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Marcin’s Journey On ‘AGT’ So Far
In his audition for AGT, Marcin performed a medley of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and System of a Down’s “Toxicity.” Simon Cowell said it was “amazing,” and Julianne Hough called it “stunning.” He received four “yes” votes.
During the Judge Cuts, Marcin performed his own arrangement of Isaac Albéniz’s “Asturias.” Simon called him “one of the best” musicians he’s ever heard. Julianne said she thinks he could win the whole competition.
In the quarterfinals, Marcin stunned with an arrangement of Paganini’s “Caprice No.24.” During the results, he was up for the Dunkin’ Save, and ended up being saved by the judges to move on to the semifinals. Will he make it to the finals? We’ll find out soon.
