5 Facts About ‘AGT’ Star Kenadi Dodds
1. She’s been singing since she was little.

Kenadi was especially a fan of Shania Twain. After attending one of her concerts at nine years old, she decided that she wanted to be a country music star, and has considered Shania an idol.
2. Both of her parents are visually impaired.
One of the challenges Kenadi has faced as she’s pursued music is that both of her parents are visually impaired and don’t drive. She relies on other family members, neighbors, or public transportation to get places. A trip to a voice coach in Salt Lake City apparently takes her three hours away from home.
3. Several country artists have invited her on stage.
Kenadi Dodds has had the chance to sing on stage with several country artists. That includes the Swon Brothers, who appeared on The Voice in 2013. She also attended a songwriting workshop with country singer Jamie O’Neal, and was invited on stage to sing at one of her concerts. She also sang at a Charley Jenkins show. She also competed on the Southwest Semifinals for the Country Showdown during the Copper Country Music Festival and was the first runner up.

5. She’s covered several talent show stars.
Kenadi has posted several covers on her YouTube channel. The most recent is her rendition of “I Hope” by American Idol star Gabby Barrett. She’s also performed “Good Girl” by Carrie Underwood, “Piece by Piece” by Kelly Clarkson, and “My Little Prayer” by David Archuleta.
If AGT doesn’t end up working out, maybe Kenadi can head to American Idol next. She certainly seems to connect with many of the show’s past contestants.
